Welcome to Longlife Athletics!


At Longlife Athletics, we are dedicated to helping young athletes reach their full potential.

Hello, my name is Marlon Long, creator of the OX1 training system. Being a former elite athlete, I understand the challenges young athletes face in reaching their full potential.

That's why I want to introduce you to an opportunity that can help elevate an athlete’s performance and take their game to the next level.


When I was younger, I didn't have the guidance or resources off the field to support my athletic development. Now, I want to give back and provide young athletes with a safe and effective way to enhance their strength and agility training.

Our OX1 training system is designed to safely enhance strength, agility, and overall athleticism by performing resisted sport-specific movements, giving athletes the competitive edge they need to excel in their sport.


Our free OX1 off-season training program offers live online full-body sport-specific resistance training workouts for athletes aged 11 to 16 from a number of local teams. Developed in collaboration with renowned sport scientist Dr. Perry Koziris, our program utilizes a body-anchor system with incrementally weighted resistance bands. It has received rave reviews from teachers, instructors, and athletes in various sports, including Taekwondo and Mixed Martial Arts.


To participate in the program, athletes must attend live online workouts guided by experienced trainers. This convenient and effective training can be done from the comfort of your own home, allowing you to maximize your athletic development during the off-season.


We offer the program 4 times a year, with an 8-week, 2-day-a-week live online home training strength and conditioning program, followed by a 2-week preseason program that focuses on explosiveness skills through a combination of home and field sessions.


Here are the recommended months for each sport's 8-week OX1 off-season training program:


Football:  Between April and August

Baseball: Between November and February

Basketball & Hockey:  Between June and August


Spaces are limited due to equipment availability, and we can only offer the full program to the most committed 15 players. If you're dedicated to completing the full 8-week program and want to take your game to the next level, don't miss out on this incredible opportunity.
